Is it Friday yet?

So Monday was fun, I went into kitchen to find out my daughter lied about doing her chores so she could have time online. So I started the day cleaning the kitchen, doing the dishes and cleaning up the trash (she was suppose to empty). Of course it gets better! I went to the bathroom and Sam and Joe decide to through eggs at eachother. Yay a mess! And now no eggs. Then my nudist thought it was just slap my knee funny to not help clean his mess up but instead to do push-ups in the living room.OK that was very entertaining. The rest of the day went well until the "she devil" returned from school to find out she was not going to practice for softball since she has lied and not done her chores. Let the pouting begin! Honestly I don't know how she can be so sweet and nice with everyone else but at home she is so bitchy, mean and cruel.

Tuesday
Today was a great day. We went to the Pig boys were great little social butterflies, I was able to run all my errends they were so good. Then we got home and had lunch Joe took his nap and Sam did not of course. Then the others came home and from the start she started screaming at the boys. I asked her to do the chores she neglects and all Hell broke loose. Now I have a headache from her screaming and the boys crying ugh. Hopefully the night will turn around.

Back on track

Ok so I realize I haven't blogged in over a week and I have had many things to say however I just couldn't put what I wanted into words. As I sit here once again thinking about what stories to share all I can think of is this past weekends events. It has been beautiful out all week and the kids have enjoyed their time outdoors for the most part. Saturday started off rough with the normal kids squealing and screaming, who needs an alarm with these boys, so much for some rest on the weekend. This lack of sleep also gets Gel up groggy and cranky and the inner demon comes out and she starts with a growl going into more of a possessed sounding hollar. As usual the boys have taunted her getting into her things in her room. I know she knows they come in there and she just lets them get into things as she lays around watching so she can yell at them. I really don't know how much more attitude I can deal with from her.Ugh.

So the day moves on and we get ready for the "Cowboy Parade" in town. Yippee the smell of horse crap, I know I am excited (insert eye roll). Takes 2 hours to get out of the house and walking to the car I smell poop. So turn around to change Joe's diaper. Finally we are off. Get there walk to a good spot to see the horses and see a friend there. Yay another grown up I can chat with! We watch the short 10 minute display of horses and buggies (I think was this worth it for 10 minutes?). Then one rider shouts in Toms direction "YEE HAW" Tom turns around and gave me the craziest expresion (yep it was worth it). This is how you know we are city people. On the walk back to the car Tom keeps yelling out "Gay up horses Gay up" I asked him what he was saying that for he told me " Because thats what you say to the horses Duh Mom" oh of course he mean't "Giddy Up!" But even after correcting him he still says it his way.

I decide to suck up my Wally World Boycott and take them all out to get a few things. This reminded me why I boycotted them and I hope to not try it again. Shopping with kids is hard work and why do I always spend more with them and forget why I am there? But We made it home.

SUNDAY FUNDAY
This morning started the same as yesterday. But Gel decided she was going to let me rest and took the boys outside to play. It would be a great gesture but she had alterior motives and I can't sleep when they are awake, something might happen to them. I stayed in and watched them from my window until I heard Joe shove Daddy's Big Bully (bowling ball) Down the porch steps. Guess he wanted to bowl for cars not pins.

Not at all did the kids listen all day and of course as everyday dad is working. Why is it they do not listen to me? Don't respect me? It is so tiring when dad comes home tells them once and they do what he tells them but they can drive me so crazy.

I go into the kitchen and step in a gooey mystery in front of the fridge. What you wonder? Upon further investigation it is eggs! Bet that was fun..... Must have happened when they were suppose to be napping while I was helping Gel with her hair crisis. Now I am off to try again to make dinner with clean feet. Hope you all had a fun event filled weekend.

adventure on grocery day

So this am ugh the sound of my alarm at 5:30 came way to quickly. Of course after seeing schools close over just the possibility of snow, I figured with the 3 inches we would most definately have a delay, hahaha oh how wrong I was! Continue on to normal morning routine and wake up Angelikah and go get back into my warm bed for a quick half hour extra but NOOOO they horrorid noise from my hubby's alarm clock going off every 5 minutes did not alow it. Seriously how can someone sleep through that noise for an hour and a half??? Well he can every day I am the alarm clock, can I put that on the resume? So I am sitting in my room trying to get the motivation to get moving and I hear a voice outside my window. I am thinking what the heck? So thinking Angelikah had gone outside to play instead of getting ready for school I go out to the living room, which looked like my dryer threw up clothes everywhere, I hear movement in the kitchen so I was like "Who's in the kitchen?" Angelikah comes out "what?" Clearly she was not outside so I was baffled. She goes outside to look acting like dang mom you've done lost your marbles. Turns out Thomas decided to get himself up and dressed and go play outside. He didn't tell anyone, didn't ask and didn't like the talk we had about safety and what could have happened had I not heard the stinker. So everything is kewl and back on track for the day. WHEW!

Everything goes as normal, hubby runs the hot water out, no not for his shower but during is morning toilet trip, then is upset because (I am not his mommy) his clothes weren't laid out for him to wear, because he is in a hurry (see alarm issue above) and doesn't have time to get his own clothes. By now the other 2 boys are up and ready to get into trouble. Joe, the nudist, whips his diaper off and runs around like he has been in a straight jacket all week, and Sam asks to watch tv. So I am like why not turn on some Sprout while I wait for some hot water and then shower. We watch for about 15 minutes before Joe decides he wants some trouble and goes up to the tv(intent to turn it off) he gives me that flirty little I'm too cute for you to get mad look and THEN WINKS AT ME! So anyhoo I get my shower eventually and we are ready to go to the store.

Me: go find your shoes so we can go
boys: screams of glee and jumping(but no shoes)

After an hour of madness trying to locate shoes we are ready to go! Yay! Get to the store, you would think they had never seen food or even a store. After an hour of can you find (item such as ketchup) with Sam and I want this, Can we get that, and many hellos and flirting by the boys I am done. We make our way to the check out- not too busy. Theres a gentleman with a few things so I ask him to go ahead of us. We start unloading, Ya I have a ton of stuff, everything is going great my boys are trying to pick up cougars left and right. Now the checkouts were starting to get backed up and we start getting "the looks" like how dare you buy so much and hold us up. So I give them the "Well I am not the one who didn't pack their lunch look" right back. The bagger insists on helping me out to the van (I hate this courtesy, I am quite capable of getting it on my own, go help some older people). We are done.

Get home and drag in all the groceries and notice I am missing stuff. Ugh. I have to go back toninght or maybe I will have hubby stop on his way home from work-I like that idea! Still trying to get the nap in but everything is put away so I feel accomplished. Thomas is home and reading his dinosaur book. Now Angelikah is home and in a pretty good mood. She is getting chores done, slowly very slowly. Looks like tonight should be a good night. Anyone else have fun grocery adventures or any off the wall adventures today? Please share in the comments.

Welcome to my hood

Hi!  Welcome to the adventures in my life.  I am a wife to a wonderful man, Kurt, who has had to overcome many challenges in life sometimes bringing me along for the ride. He is a wonderful man and father when he is home(he works way too much). I have 6 wonderful children. The oldest is my daughter Angelikah, 6th grade almost 12 and very much like myself. Next is my wonderful stepdaughter Taylor 10, a little reserved but is so very unique and special. And then there is my other stepdaughter Kayla 7, truely our Kurt in a skirt, she is always surprising me and never a dull momment. Now the boys. Thomas 6, is very smart and manipulative and sneeky but also can melt your heart with his thoughtful kindness. Sampson almost 4, he is very competitive for my attention and drive me crazy, but he has some issues and doesnt talk well yet but still can make my day, he too is sweet as sugar and trys his hardest to make us proud all the time. And the baby Joseph 2, and boy does he milk that baby factor, he has picked up his fathers lovely greeting for me of "Hey Baby!" lol he is a ham and a big flirt but has the worst tantrums some days. We also have 2 cats who have been with us since birth, Moonpie and Patches, they enjoy running laps through the house at 6am and trying to sneek outside. Hopefully my blog will entertain you as much as it will me when I am thinking back to the crazy things my day consisted of, I welcome any suggestions or topics you would like to hear about as well. ~@mber
